Cult Nails Let Me Fly Glitter Gradient

Hiiii! Happy Friday night to those of you who are home relaxing, out partying, or just plain enjoying your time away from work. If you are actually at work, I feel your pain. I'm currently babysitting for a few more hours (not that babysitting is anything awful; this kid is a blast).. then I get to go home and relax. It's a short lived period of relaxation. I'm back at work at nine in the morning and for a solid twelve hours. Y. U. C. K. I hate working a double on Saturdays. No matter how many Saturdays I work, I still hate it so much. Ah well. Not much I can do about it now, is there?

I actually left work a tad early today because I wasn't feeling so hot. The day was supposed to be really busy, but it didn't quite live up to that so I was able to sneak out before I was scheduled to live. I was really grateful that my coworkers let me leave early. I've had so much on my mind lately about school, work, this and that. It's overwhelming.

Anyway... as I was rummaging through my newly-organized polish storage, I got the idea to do a glitter gradient, one of my favorite manicure designs. I've only tried it once before but I love it! Simple and easy, yet they look so awesome! An untried, Butter London Victoriana stood out to me first. I always have the same problem- I see Victoriana and instantly think of Cult Nails Let Me Fly. Then it's over for me, and I have to use Let Me Fly. I just love it.

This is two coats of Cult Nails Let Me Fly topped with Sation Pyramid Princess. I added on the glitter with a triangular makeup sponge. This always proves to be so much easier than I expect it to be. This manicure honestly might be my favorite manicure of all time

Below is a picture of Let Me Fly on its own. This is my first Cult Nails polish, so it holds a dear place in my heart. Eleven other Cult Nails polishes later and I still love this one the most.

Still gorgeous even on its own.

Do you own Let Me Fly? Which are your favorite Cult Nails shades? Have a great weekend- stay safe and have fun if you get the weekend off! xo

Pink Wednesday: Nothing like a day at the beach.

I got to spend today at the beach! I had the best time with my work bestie, Lierin, and her baby girl Harper. The weather was perfect, the beach was perfect. Everything was awesome. This was probably my last beach trip for the rest of the summer which sucks, but what can you do? Fall is coming so fast, and I am not ready for it. Ugh.

Here's Harper's sandy little bum- I just love those darn ruffles.

I've been wearing a ton of pink lately- I never used to like pink polishes so this is new for me! I decided to coordinate this pink with Pink Wednesday, which I also never seem to do. These two polishes I'm about to show you were seriously made to be together. They are perfect for eachother.

Wrist candy! I'm wearing my pink/gold Kate Spade bangle, my pink tennis string bracelet, and my best friends Alex and Ani.

What I'm wearing is two coats of OPI Pedal Faster Suzi topped with Sation Glintz and Glam. I love these polishes. The pink in each of them is the exact same, and they look great together. I LOVE Pedal Faster Suzi- my fave light pink. It's just so beautiful and delicate. It's a really complementary shade. If you don't have it yet, I'd consider it a staple piece to any polish lover's collection.

Do you agree? Do you like light, delicate pinks?

Color Club Stamping

Hello everybody! Happy Tuesday! Glad I made it through the day so quickly... sometimes, Tuesdays drag on. But, alas, I have made it! Today I'm bringing you a manicure I did right when I got back from vacation last week. I had a lot of fun with it.

The black base coat I used is Fingerpaints Black Expressionism, one of my favorite blacks! It's my go-to black for stamping, too. I stamped with a bunch of different Color Club foils- I did a different color on each nail! The glitter on my accent finger is Sation Miss Bling It On. Sation is a brand I discovered at Transdeign a few weeks back- WOW! It's amazing. They have some GREAT glitters, and for a great price too. If you have the chance to get your hands on some, I highly recommend them! I've used them in pretty much every manicure I've posted since I've gotten back from vacation because they are just so AWESOME!

Have a nice night, loves! xo

PS- Do you like my new layout!? My best friend designed the header. I'm loving it!

Blue Paradise

Hiii everyone! Happy Thursday !! I got back to work yesterday, so it feels so early in the week! Super exciting that tomorrow is Friday!!! On Monday while I was at the beach, I found out that myself and my two best friends won meet & greet tickets for the Josh Turner show tomorrow! AAAAH! I can hardly contain my excitement.. I'm currently planning a manicure based on my favorite song of his, Time Is Love. Wheeee!!!

Today, I'm featuring the first vacation mani that I did. Check it out!!

I really liked this manicure, and wore it for maybe four days or so... which, as you all know, is WEEKS in polish-land time! Tomorrow, I'll be showing you the manicure I'm wearing right now. For those of you that use Instagram, go over to my page (username = c4rped1em) for a sneak peak of that manicure! Fun stamping, similar to last post's manicure!

Have a great day everybody- it's almost F R I D A Y  !!

I'm Baaaaack! Featuring a fun glittery-stamped manicure!

I survived my long, crazy road trip and I'm officially back home sitting on my own bed! Aaaaahhh, what a whirlwind it was! I had SO much fun with my best friend. It's always hard to believe how crazily fast vacations fly by...

I did two manicures while I was on vacation; this was the second of the two (I'll show the first one next- I just like this one so much it can't wait!). While on my road trip, I just so happened to make a pit stop at Transdesign, a HUGE nail supply store. Here's what I snagged (it's almost embarrassing, really):

Yep. Super embarrassing. I saved SO much money, though: I spent $220 on what would normally probably cost double that amount. :D

Here's the long-awaited mani!

If you couldn't tell, I gave my nails a more rounded shape! I am liking it!

I took this one at the beach in Maryland. For some reason, all things just look so much better at the beach!

This is just SO beautiful! I love how the glitter looks over the Color Club. The CC polish seriously went on like a dream. I am now gaga over all things Color Club! These Sation glitters are also amazing.. I wasn't familiar with this brand until I discovered it at the supply shop, but I bought a ton of them and will be featuring another in my next post! I'm addicted! Now to go catch up with some friends I haven't seen in a few weeks. Hope you all enjoy this manicure! xoxo
