Ending The Guest Post Week With Katy From Nailed It

While I was gone I requested help from a bunch of my blogger friends to produce posts for my blog. I was so happy with the results. Of course, I had to schedule all of the posts ahead of time so I wasn't able to witness them the day they were scheduled to be posted. Unfortunately, one of the posts' pictures were omitted, which was a shame because the manicure was gorgeous! I'm going to repost it with the pictures, hopefully it'll work this time!

Katy's blog Nailed It is awesome. She's extremely talented. Under these pictures, I'll include Katy's commentary- be sure to click view more to see her how-to!

Guest Week Follow-Up: Carly from Lacquered Lover

Hi ladies! I am officially back from my amazing vacation, but I have a few more posts that friends did for me that I would like to share with all of you! Here's a post from Carly at Lacquered Lover. I hope you enjoy!

Hello Lacquered Lovers!  First of all, I want to say a big thank you
to Emily for letting me write this guest post!  I love her blog and
it's so fun getting to share posts with fellow bloggers!  Today I have
a gorgeous Nubar to show you, Purple Rain Glitter.  I had never tried
Nubar until a few weeks ago (which is pretty surprising for a nail
polish hoarder like me), and so far, it's really impressing me!  They
have fabulous colors and their formula is great!  Now, without further
ado, on to the polish!

Guest Week Day Seven: Lizzy's Pretty Flowers

Here is Lizzy from The Do It Yourself Lady. Her nail designs are great, and this one is no different!

Hello Embellished Nails Lovers! Hope y'all are doing fine on this lovely day.

When I saw Emily's blog post about wanting Guest writers on her blog, I decided to challenge myself and send her a message to let her know I'm interested in doing a blog post.

This is my first time ever doing a guest post, so I thought long and hard about what to do. I was inspired by this season of love.. Valentine's day.

A while back, while going through Youtube videos like I often do, I came across this Tutorial, and I wanted to do something similar ever since.
I hope you like what I've come up with. Something simple, yet sweet. Perfect for valentine's day. :-)

Guest Week Day Six: Nautical Mani by Katy from Nailed It

Check out this nautical-themed mani from Katy! I loooove it!!

Hi everyone! For those of you who may not recognize my name or my blog, I'm Katy, and my blog is called Nailed It. Totally original name, I know.

While Emily is enjoying the majesty of the seas, tossing and tumbling around on a rocky cruise line, lots of us are stuck tromping through feet of snow, drizzling rain and depressing sleet. Thankfully, nails provide the perfect escape from the dreary times this time of year has to offer. Wearing a spring dress or a cute jumper isn't really an option right now, but adorning nails with fantasies of better times is a cinch.

My attempt to drown the dullness also honors Emily's excursion. These are my super cute sailor nails.

Guest Week Day Five: My Dark Valentine (from The Ivy Forest's Jessica)

Hi ladies! Welcome to day five of my guest blogger festivities! Today I have Jessica from The Ivy Forest showing off some awesome nail art. Enjoy!

Hello everyone! I'm Jessica, of TheIvyForest.blogspot.com, and I'm so happy to be guest blogging for Emily today! I had so many ideas on what to do for this post, but I bought a new polish recently, I knew I had to feature it in a manicure!

I've been calling this My Dark Valentine! For it I used
Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in Uptempo Plum for the base color
Nicole by OPI Step 2 The Beat of My Heart for the heart glitter
Covergirl 3-in1 Fireworks LE for the silver glitter
LA Colors Crystal Glitter for the micro glitter
and a few coats of Out The Door to top it all off!

Guest Week Day Four: Helga from Color and Creativity Water Marbles!

Hi ladies! Here we are with day four of my guest blog feature! Today, I have a water marble to show you by Helga from Color and Creativity. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Hi, this is Helga from Color And Creativity. I was really excited when I say that Emily wanted some guest bloggers for her vacation. I've never done a guest post before so I thought it would be really fun :) I wanted to do something special for her so I chose to water marble! I started with one coat of E.L.F. - White and then added a coat of China Glaze - White Cap. Then I marbled with White Cap, China Glaze - Wagon Trail & Orly - Rococo A Go-Go. Top coat and you're done! I liked that the shimmer from White Cap really stood out in certain angles :) Shimmery!

Guest Week Day Three: Esra, also known as Oje Sihirbazı (Wizard of Polish)

Today I'd like to feature a Turkish nail blogger by the name of Esra. I don't believe I previously followed her blog- Esra emailed me telling me she was interested in guest blogging. I'm excited to feature her, especially because she picked my favorite color for her post! Make sure you follow Esra and keep up with her blog, Oje Sihirbazı!

Hey everyone! My name is Esra and I'm another nail polish enthusiast from Turkey. First of all, I would like to thank dearest Emily for her kindness and giving me the chance to be a guest on her blog.

Today, I will show you a great nail polish combo. I picked two nail polishes for this manicure. Base color is from a local brand Pastel named as Pastel 14 (I picked this one especially because its a local product) and for the top coat I used my all time favorite nail polish China Glaze Snow Globe.

Guest Week Day Two: Caroline from Good Lack Nail compares OPI Chapel Of Love

I'm excited to introduce Caroline to you. Caroline has a fun post about two different versions of an OPI color. Check it out! Also make sure to check out Caroline's blog here!

Hi everyone!

Today I'd like to show you something funny - nail polish addicts, or collectors (whichever you prefer), often come by "old" polishes, which have been part of a Limited Edition, and then have been made permanent collection.

One of those old, or black label, OPI polishes I came by which has a different formula and slightly different colour, is "Chapel of Love", which was originally part of the Elvis collection from OPI, which released quite a while back!

Guest Week Day One: Olivia featuring Wet n' Wild: Blue Moon & Essie: Shine of the Times

I'm so excited to introduce my first guest blogger! Olivia is one of my favorite bloggers. I discovered her blog when I first started blogging in the summer and hers inspired me to keep blogging even though I didn't have many followers. I'm so glad she agreed to write a guest post for me!

First of all, a big thanks to Emily for choosing me to be a guest blogger! I was so surprised she chose me since I suck so much at blogging on my own blog. ;)

I wanted to pick a really awesome polish, or polish combo. It took me forever to come up with something that was even halfway decent. I think I was trying too hard. I had like a million untried polishes sitting out on my desk, which included all the Essie Luxe Effects polishes. And those are all awesome, by the way. Shine of the Times is my favorite of the bunch. You can layer it over pretty much anything and it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I also recently purchased Wet n Wild Blue Moon, which is a deep navy blue with a turquoise colored shimmer. I just happened to experiment with these two polishes and came up with one of my favorite combos of all time! Take a look!
