Days 15 and 16... where did you go?

Ugh.. so sad I missed two days of the challenge. I've been really, really down. Sometimes a surefire way of telling that you're really down is when you don't find enjoyment in things that you love.. it hurts so much to not enjoy something that you're passionate about because you're depressed. I'm trying to be positive and continue on with my life but sometimes it's hard to do. I will overcome this, I know I will.. but it's so hard. I was thinking about starting a personal blog back up again (used to always keep one) because I don't like airing dirty laundry on here, but we'll see.

I'm going to try to pick back up with day 17 which is glitter.. I am a glitter fanatic so I'm hoping this will invigorate me back into the challenge. I'm hoping to go back and do days 15 and 16 at the end, hopefully. I'm not a quitter- sometimes we all just get to the finish line a little differently.

At that I'm going to end this post, but I'll leave you with some inspiring quotes that really opened my eyes the past few days and are making me feel just slightly better about current things.

  1. Hang in there, friend. I went through a terrible time last year when I was horribly depressed. It's something I wouldn't wish on ANYONE. Don't be afraid or ashamed to talk to someone if you feel you need help. You deserve to experience joy and to be fulfilled by the things you're passionate about. Remember that, even when it seems like the pit is too deep and too dark, these feelings will NOT last forever. Sending hugs your way!!

  2. We all have down moments, actually right now I'm having problems with my family and it's really depressing and I'm just glad that my husband is so supportive. I almost want to quit blogging but we all know everything will come to pass, so don't give up.
